Grand Shop Opening - April 13

Back

On Saturday 27th April 2013 we were delighted to celebrate the Grand Opening of our charity shop at 7 Greenways, Sawtry.  Despite the damp start, the skies finally cleared five minutes before the appointed time ready for the ribbon cutting.  In attendance were the girls from the newly crowned Sawtry Carnival Court and Cllr Barbara Boddington (Chair, Huntingdon District Council) who did the honours.  Those who joined us were able to enjoy a piece of celebration cake (thanks to Kelly's Cakes) and dancing thanks to local Scottish Dance team, the Huntingdon Caledonian Dancers.

It was a lovely way to celebrate everyone's hard work over the past few months and to thank all those involved.
